Folio Arte offers the complete online visual portfolio solution for Designers, Architects, Artisans, Artists or anyone with a visual portfolio to present. We build it, host it, help you promote it and make it easy for you to keep it up to date.
Your Portfolio is your stand-alone visual portfolio website. It contains images of your work as well as the text documents of your choosing organized to your liking.
Present your portfolio images, captions, resume, biography, headshot, list of press quotes, or any other text or image information to your potential clients. Visitors to your PortFolio can easily view, print and even download portable versions of your portfolio.
If you can mail us your slides and resume you have all the skills you need to put your content on the web – we take care of the rest!

Your Own Personal Designer: Every portfolio is as unique as the artist.
Portfolio Design requires one-on-one communication.
During the initial build of your Portfolio one of our web designers will be assigned to you. You’ll have your own Personal Designer – not a sales person, but the actual designer who will put together your site. You can call or email your Designer at any time and communicate with a real live human being who is always happy to talk to you. How many Internet businesses will say that?!
Features Your Work Not Ours: Have you seen those websites with spinning text that seem to be more about the Site Design than the content? Ugh.
Our premise is simple: FolioArte features the Client’s work NOT the web designer’s. Your work is in the foreground where it should be. The lasting impression for your visitors will be of your portfolio – your work as a designer or artist, not fancy website tricks.
Flexible: The FolioArte format has been designed with sufficient structure to allow us to provide it to you at a low cost, yet is flexible enough to allow for varied types of information. Your Personal FolioArte Designer will design an informational layout and organize your Portfolio to best suit your work. Because of its adaptability, your Portfolio can grow and expand as the body of your work expands.
Stylish: The FolioArte format was designed to be simple, unique, functional, and in a sense, even tactile.
Splash Page: The Splash Page is the unique initial page your visitors see when they arrive at your Portfolio. It sets the tone of your work and the site. It makes the first impression of your site unique.
Splash Pages consist of one of your portfolio images or can be custom designed.
Section Headings: Each Portfolio has up to 10 sections for your content. Available section types include, Image Page(s), Text Page(s), Download Page and Contact Page (see below).
Your Portfolio Designer will work with you to determine the best structure for your Portfolio.
Image Pages: Your Portfolio can have as many images as you like. Image thumbnails (reductions) can be displayed in groups on your Image Pages. Your Portfolio Designer will work with you to organize your images into FolioArte sections (Category Headings) of your choosing.
Submit slides, photographs, renderings, sketches, original artwork or digital image files for inclusion in your Portfolio.
Text Pages: Things like your Resume, Biography, Curriculum Vite, Press Clippings, Recent Projects, Client List, Upcoming Bookings, and many others form the Text Pages of your Portfolio. Your Portfolio Designer will help you determine which types of Text Pages best suit your needs. Hyperlink words on your Text Pages to related images. Each Text Page is also converted to a portable format (Adobe Acrobat-PDF) so that your visitors can download, email and print your text information. Each Text Page also includes a ‘Printable Version’ button to enable printing while browsing your Portfolio.
Portable Portfolio: You choose 24 images from your portfolio which are converted into a full color, Virtual Booklet (Acrobat PDF File). Each image includes caption information. Visitors to your Portfolio can download, print, view and email your Portable Portfolio. Print your Portable Portfolio yourself and hand out copies at interviews.
The Portable Portfolio is an optional add-on feature.
Download Page: Offer downloadable versions of your Text Pages or Portable Portfolio in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format from the Download Page of your Portfolio.
Contact Page: Display your contact information as well as that of a secondary contact such as your Agent, Gallery or Firm. Contact Page includes clickable email links.
Hosting / Site Subscription: Select either the Basic or Premium Portfolio Monthly Site Subscription Plan. Subscription includes hosting, Domain Name Registration (Premium Level only), and monthly lease of your Portfolio.
